Presidents’ Day is an American holiday celebrated on the third Monday in February. Originally established in 1885 in recognition of President George Washington, it is still officially called “Washington’s Birthday” by the federal government. The purpose about Presidents Day is to honor all the presidents from the past to the present. Presidents day is on a monday in February for a three day weekend. Several ways to show honor and respect is to get to know the holiday and to find the meaning of it .
